A Letter from Principal Montalvo Dear Caldwell Heights Families, We are super excited to launch a new school year! Our Supply Drop off is tomorrow, Thursday August 8th from 5:30-6:30 to drop off your child(ren)'s supplies and briefly meet their teacher. We are eager to welcome everyone back! Please make sure to fill out a lunch application. This application will determine our school's staffing, resources, and materials available to your children. We would like to ensure that your children are able to receive what they need to continue to be successful in school. Supply Drop Off Night! We want to welcome our parents and students on campus Thursday, August 8th from 5:30-6:30 to drop off supplies and briefly meet the teacher. We are asking the following from parents: - Please feel free to use our back entrance or our front entrance. They will both be open.
- Report to the cafeteria to look up your child's classroom number and teacher.
- If your child has a district-issued Chromebook and charger from last year, please bring them so that they can be updated for the start of school.
- Please keep in mind that this is not a night to conference with teachers. If you would like to speak with a teacher about your child at length, please make arrangements to hold a conference with the teacher.
- If you are unable to make it, your child may bring their supplies and device on the first day.
We look forward to seeing you and welcoming everyone back for a fantastic new school year! |
Morning Arrival Procedures Due to safety measures, we won't be able to allow visitors/parents to walk students into their classroom. We have several greeters to walk students to class and make sure they get where they need to be! Practice giving a kiss goodbye in the car or at the designated drop off area. Car Riders - Please use the back lane to drop off car riders. Make sure to drop students off starting at 7:15. There will be no supervision of students until 7:15 am.
- All car riders that will be eating breakfast will enter through the back door
- All other car riders will be guided to their designated door to go straight to class. K-5 students will enter the building at our door on University Blvd.
- All Prek students will be escorted by a teacher to their classroom for the first few weeks.
- Our greeters will ensure that all students get to their classroom safely.
Bus Riders - All of our bus riders will enter through the front doorway.
- They will enter the cafeteria to wait until the 7:15 bell. They may pick up breakfast at this time as well.
- All Prek students will line up with a teacher to be escorted to their classroom.

Walkers - Will enter either the front or back doors and be guided to get breakfast or to their classroom.

Dismissal We have a staggered dismissal 2:45 PM Pre-k (Eagle Door) 2:45 PM 5th (Zoe's Circle Door) 2:47 PM 3rd (Eagle Door) 2:47 PM 2nd (Zoe's Circle Door) 2:49 PM 1st (Eagle Door) 2:51 PM Kinder (Zoe's Circle Door) 2:53 PM 4th (Eagle Door) Parents...We encourage you to use crosswalks and safe traffic procedures when coming to get your students.Please try not to stop in the middle of the street or encourage your child to run across the street when picking up your child. We ask that parents do not congregate at our exits. You are welcome to wait in the designated area for parents. |
